 Think Yard Sale, Block Club Party/ Day Party... But Better!!! 
Neighbors, artists, chefs and furniture and clothing vendors will set up 10’ by 10’ and 10’ by 30’ spaces to vend at a cost of $20 and $30 per space. Networking with friends and neighbors, entertainment, food and an evening cocktail party will be apart of the day’s activities.  We are raising funds for Cascade Elementary Schools PTA and ask that all vendors donate 10% of total sales to this cause. Community Take Back Rally

Greetings everyone,

Our Saturday Community Take Back Rallies telling crime, violence and drugs in our community that It's Got To Go is back on  schedule! This time we will focus on the Venetian Hills community.  

Please meet at Ikala's Seafood restaurant, 1437 Campbellton Road at 11:00am sharp.  Be sure to bring a bottle of water bottle and wear comfortable shoes.

Thanks to support from Ar-Rahman Islamic Center, Atlanta PD Deputy Chief Ernest Findley and Sgt. D. Fast heading up the COPS Unit we are seeing a positive change in our neighborhoods.  But, we need you to show up in numbers and continue the momentum.

Join Us! 2015 Proposed Bond Infrastructure Public Information Meetings

 
The City of Atlanta is taking measures to address infrastructure needs, including repair/replacement of damaged sidewalks; aging streets and bridges in need of replacement; and attention to recreation centers and other city buildings in need of replacement.  The public is encouraged to join the Office of the Mayor, Atlanta City Council, the Departments of Public Works, Planning & Community Development, and the Office of Enterprise Assets Management as we share information with the community about the 2015 Proposed Infrastructure Bond.  A series of public information meetings is currently underway through September 30, 2014

APCAFEST Community Market! Saturday

          APCAFEST 2014, Community Market

     Get a booth, sell your stuff and support
        Cascade Elementary School's PTA!

Is there “Cash in your Attic”?  We want our neighbors and friends to clean out their attics, closets, basements and bring those unused treasures to the “APCAFEST Community Market” and make some CA$H, catch up with your neighbors and meet some new ones. Think "Flea Market", "Block Club Party" and "Day Party", but better, with entertainment, food and a cocktail hour !!! Vendors can set up 10’ by 10’ and 10’ by 30’  8am. Spaces to vend at a cost of $20 and $30 per space. We have arraigned with Saturdays Thrift to have your items picked up and brought to the market location the morning of should you need that service. We also have a couple of neighbors who are willing to help get your items ready to sell.

We kindly ask that all vendors donate 10% of all sales to Cascade Elementary School.

2015 Proposed Infrastructrue Bond - 2nd Round of Public Information Meetings

The City of Atlanta thanks you for your participation in discussion of the 2015 Proposed Infrastructure Bond.  Please be reminded that tonight we will begin a second round of public information meetings to share what we heard from citizens during the June & July round of meetings.  We are also seeking input on the next steps in developing a project list to be considered as part of the proposed bond.
