Looking for volunteers to help design John A. White playground

If you live or work in NPU-S, you can't have missed John A. White Park, the largest park in our area. It features a golf course, a tennis center, a swimming pool, and barbecue grills. What you may have missed, however, is the John A. White playground, behind the pool. Not many people go there, and it's easy to see why - it's small and the equipment is outdated by today's standards.

Fortunately, John A. White's playground is finally getting the refreshment that our other local playgrounds have. The City is working to update the playground, and is looking for a group of citizens to help decide on the design and features of the new playground!

If you'd like to be part of a deciding committee for the new-and-improved John A. White playground, send an email to Nick Hess, the NPU Chair, at chair@npu-s.org, or call at (404) 890-0089.
