If you are attending via Zoom you must register with a valid email address! The registration system will send you an email with your personal link to the meeting.

This month we'll have a two voting items:
- Z-21-74: An Ordinance by Councilmember Amir R. Farokhi to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City Of Atlanta. This is a series of updates to zoning regulations that would modify MR-MU (Multifamily Residential Multi-Unit) zoning regulations, eliminate parking requirements for R4, R4B, R5 and MR-MU zones, and significantly expand the ability to create and use Accessory Dwellings units. The overall goal of this ordinance is "to promote a diversity of housing options and increase housing affordability."
There was an accompanying voting item, Z-21-73, which proposes to proactively rezone single-family residential lots to MR-MU, along with an accompanying CDP change. This has been postponed.
- Z-21-85: An Ordinance by Zoning Committee to amend the 1982 Atlanta Zoning Ordinance. This ordinance would apply the new Short-Term Rental regulations that were hashed out last year to various types of residential zones throughout the city, putting AirBnbs and their ilk under a legal framework.
