Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases which has led to a decrease in staffing, the Department of Public Works Office of Solid Waste Services is experiencing collection delays across the city.
Crews are out and will continue to work into the evening. Residents impacted by the service delays should leave carts and bagged items curbside and visit www.atlanta311.com or call 311 or (404) 546-0311 to report any missed collections.
Yard trimming drop-off is available at the following locations:
- 2175 James Jackson Parkway, Atlanta GA 30318
- 1320 Key Road SE, Atlanta GA 30316
- 1540 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta GA 30318
Hours of operation of Monday through Friday 9am - 4:30pm, Saturday 9am - 3pm

My recycling has not been collected for two weeks. No one answers the 311 number on weekends so I’m not sure what the saturdays 9-3 listed above pertains to. The web address provided above does not work. I looked up the dept. of solid waste phone number (404.330.6236) and gave them a call, also no answer AND their voice mail box is full. This is ridiculous.
