  • Mon -Fri Yard Trimmings Collected. Due to staffing shortages, yard trimmings will be collected every other week until further notice. This week, yard trimmings WILL be collected.

    Trash and recycling are collected weekly as usual.
  • Wed Jul 3, 6:15pm. NPU-S Land Use Committee meeting. This committee makes recommendations to the NPU about:
    1. all matters related to the development of residential, commercial, and other large-scale development projects;
    2. all matters related to zoning, economic development, business expansion and retention, and urban design;
    3. all matters related to traffic and transportation planning;
    4. and all matters related to enforcement of City Codes.

    The Executive Committee meets every second Sunday of the month at 4:45 pm.

NPU-S General Meeting will be In-Person at WAWA Outdoor Activity Center: 6/20 @7pm

The NPU-S General Body Meeting for June will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 7pm IN PERSON! This month's meeting will be held at the WAWA Outdoor Activity Center located at 1442 Richland Rd SW Atlanta, GA 30310. Again, the meeting will be TOTALLY IN PERSON with no virtual option! Please come out, get to know your neighbors, and get involved!

Senior Citizen Anti-Displacement Grant Available – Please Share!

Dear Neighborhood Leaders,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out on behalf of the Mayor's Office of Constituent Services to inform you about an important opportunity for our senior residents: the Senior Citizen Anti Displacement Grant. This grant is designed to provide financial assistance with property taxes for senior citizens that may be facing the risk of displacement from their homes. Key Details about the Senior Citizen Displacement Grant
Purpose: to prevent displacement of senior citizens from their homes.

City of Atlanta Solid Waste Rate Adjustment Legislation (24-O-1214)

There is new legislation related to The City of Atlanta's Department of Public Works. The purpose of this legislation is to implement adjustments in the solid waste service fees and charges to maintain strong infrastructure, to meet the demands of the City's services area, and to remain financially sustainable.
