NPU-S Senior Lawncare Service 2025 now starting

We're pleased to announce that we're gearing up to start the 2025 Senior Lawncare program! This program offers free, basic lawncare for senior and disabled residents of the communities of Oakland City, Cascade, Venetian Hills and Bush Mountain. This Thursday 2/20 at 7pm NPU-S will be holding our monthly General Body Meeting! Please come out and find out what's happening in the neighborhood!

This month we will be voting on a number of things this month including the 2025 Community Impact Grant Project Proposal for NPU-S! Can't wait to see you there!! 



2nd annual MENS conference- THE NEXT MAN UP- Please share

Hello Neighbors! 

 

The Atlanta Public Schools Office of Family Engagement will be hosting our second annual Male Engagement Conference: Next Man Up under of Male Engagement Network (M.E.N) Initiative. 

 

The Next Man Up Conference creates a safe space for transparent and vulnerable conversations, promotes brotherhood and accountability, while empowering men for the personal and professional success of their children, their communities, and themselves.

 

It will be held on March 8th, 2024, from 8:00AM – 2:00PM at Ralph Bunche School. We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation for you to be a vendor at this special occasion for empowering our fathers/father figures of Atlanta Public Schools.

 

We are seeking seeking student volunteers and will be offering community service hours.

    This Thursday, January 16th, will be our monthly NPU General Meeting, held as always, on the third Thursday of the month, 7pm to 9pm. This is a virtual meeting only.  There will not be an in-person option this month.
