Introduction: Quadrus Black, NPU-S Acting Chair

Hello NPU-S,

My name is Quadrus Black, and due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am your new NPU-S Acting Chair. I have been working with NPU-S and my neighborhood since I moved to Southwest Atlanta. I've been a resident of Atlanta since 2010 and moved to Venetian Hills in 2016. In 2017, I became the President of the Westridge/Sandtown Community, and have continued to serve until becoming NPU-S Vice Chair this year.

As the NPU-S Acting Chair, I want to make sure everyone in our community knows that I, with the help of our executive committee, plan to continue the work that has been started by our previous NPU leaders and to push us forward. I appreciate everyone who has stepped up to make this transition as smooth as possible and especially thanks to Kyle Lamont for his help with my transition into this new role. And as we all embark on this journey together, I plan to make an intentional effort to reach out to you all for support when needed and I look forward to working with each of you.

We will hold another election at our next general body meeting on March 21, 2024 where I hope to win your trust as Chair. We are actively seeking nominations for Vice Chair, and we encourage anyone interested to reach out. If there is any way that I can otherwise be of assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know. Once again, I appreciate this opportunity to serve.

Quadrus Black
