Please join me in celebrating our community meeting a goal of providing a place for residents to seek help in the case of a catastrophic event in our city.
Some of you may remember that in 2015-16 NPU-S talked about the need for a Resiliency Hub or an emergency plan for our communities. Well we have that opportunity now. Thanks to Chris Brown for enthusiastically sharing with me why we needed such a plan and to Eric Hill for showing me that a plan was possible. And, I think COVID showed us all that an emergency plan is a necessity in today's world.
Please share this good news and attached flyer with your neighbors and community organizations. I hope to see you on April 30th at 11am at VICARS, 838 Cascade Avenue as we support and celebrate our community's progress.
