Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academy - applications being accepted

From the Fulton County Sheriff's department:
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is delighted to announce the 5th Annual Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academy. The six weeks academy will begin Wednesday April 24th, end on Wednesday May 29th. The classes will meet every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The academy is free of charge to the participants. A light dinner will be served.

The program's goal is to familiarize the community with the day to day operations of law enforcement. Participants will be given an inside look at the Fulton County courthouse and jail operations, as well as an overview of the basic responsibilities of law enforcement.

In an effort to give participants the maximum experience, the class size is limited to 25 persons per six week session; therefore, it is important to submit your application as soon as possible. The deadline for application submission is Friday, March 29th.  Please feel free to give us a call if you need additional information. If you are unable to attend, your referral will be highly considered.
For an application, contact the Fulton County Sheriff's Office Community Outreach Section at 404-612-6624 or community.outreach.fcso@fultoncountyga.gov
