NPU-S General Meeting This Thursday, June 17

The NPU-S General Meeting will be held this Thursday, June 17, at 7pm

This is our first general meeting held via Zoom, as opposed to Google Meet, so some things have changed. Read carefully!

To register, either go online to https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0udeCgqT8pEtycXQZ9s7Tk4_0J_73DZmQD or call (770) 744-5311 and leave a message with a way for us to reach you.

If you are attending via Zoom you must register with a valid email address! The registration system will send you an email with your personal link to the meeting.

You can call into the meeting if you wish to attend without using Zoom. To attend the meeting by phone, call (646) 558 8656, meeting ID 993 2987 4388. We encourage phone attendees to also register!

This month we'll have a single voting item and one item for comment:

  • Z-21-41 An Ordinance by Zoning Committee to amend the 1982 Atlanta Zoning Ordinance, as amended, by amending the definition of urban gardens to permit on-site sales; by amending the special administrative permit requirement for urban gardens; so as to expand the use of urban gardens in residential areas; and to increase the availability of locally grown food and to stimulate neighborhood economic activity; and for other purposes. Fact Sheet
  • SD-21-11 (review and comment only) - a proposed subdivision of 1471 Olive St into two lots.
As always,  representatives from the police, code enforcement, public works, and other City departments will call in to give reports, and we'll discuss NPU and community programs for our constituents. Come on out!
