This month we'll have a two voting items:

  • Z-21-58: Applicant seeks to rezone the 6.04 acre property from the I-1 (Light industrial) zoning designation to the I-MIX (Industrial mixed use district) zoning designation to create a cohesive mixed use development.
  • CDP-21-45: An Ordinance to amend the Land Use element of the 2016 Atlanta Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) so as to redesignate property located at 1056, 1066, 1100 and 1088 Murphy Avenue SW and 1127 and 1135 Sylvan Road SW from the Industrial (I) Land Use Designation to the Mixed Use Medium Density (MUMD) Land Use Designation and for other purposes to wit (Z-21-058).
We'll also have a presentation by the City of Atlanta on the proposed ordinances Z-21-73 and Z-21-74 along with the accompanying CDP changes 21-O-0455/CDP-21-43. These are the "Proactive Rezoning" proposals sponsored by Councilmember Farokhi, which aim to increase density in a low-impact manner by allowing "missing middle" (4-6 unit multifamily) development within a half-mile walk of transit stations.

As always,  representatives from the police, code enforcement, public works, and other City departments will call in to give reports, and we'll discuss NPU and community programs for our constituents. Come on out!
